Elevate Media Group was brought in to help the Amara Rose Foundation create a video that would effectively tell the story of the foundation’s namesake, Amara, as well as another young man whose mother is a board member of the foundation. The goal was not only to raise awareness about the fentanyl epidemic but to evoke strong emotions and inspire viewers to take action—whether through donations, volunteering, or spreading awareness.

PSA-Style Digital & Broadcast Ads
Following the success of the foundation’s storytelling video, Elevate Media Group partnered with the Amara Rose Foundation again to develop a series of five impactful digital and broadcast ads. These ads were designed in a PSA style, using powerful visuals and straightforward messaging to educate the public—especially youth—about the dangers of fentanyl and the importance of harm-reduction tools like Narcan.
Each ad featured teens delivering hard-hitting facts directly to the camera, creating an authentic and relatable tone for the target audience. To enhance the clarity and impact of the messaging, supporting graphics were added to illustrate key data points and show relevant imagery, including visuals of Narcan administration and the deceptive appearance of fentanyl-laced pills.
The ad topics included:
Narcan Education: What Narcan is, how it works, and how to use it in an overdose emergency.
Fentanyl Facts: Informing viewers that fentanyl can be found in both street drugs and counterfeit pills purchased online.
Personal Story: A poignant interview with a young woman who lost her brother to a fentanyl overdose, putting a human face to the crisis.
These ads were created to run across multiple platforms—digital, social, and local broadcast—giving the foundation the flexibility to reach diverse audiences with critical, life-saving information. The series was not only educational but emotionally resonant, reinforcing the foundation’s commitment to awareness, prevention, and action.

The foundation story video was a resounding success. It was highly praised by the foundation and its supporters, and was even nominated for a prestigious Telly Award, where it won Silver in the Social Issues category. Audiences who viewed the video at events described it as "moving" and "wonderfully made," with many feeling compelled to take action after seeing it.
