Ever since she could hold a marker in her hand, Lauren has had a great enthusiasm for all things art! This passion for creativity as well as an interest in visual brand identity, led her to the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, where she studied marketing and graphic design. Throughout her schooling, Lauren provided digital marketing services to multiple organizations including school clubs, a local coffee shop, and Central Conservation (The Nature Place & WisCorps), where she now serves as an active board member.

After graduating with a bachelor's degree in marketing, Lauren started her career working full time as a marketing graphic designer. As a self-described “marketing nerd”, nothing makes Lauren geek out more than tackling a campaign with creative problem solving and watching the numbers soar! She loves any opportunity to dig into the meaning behind a brand and figure out how to effectively communicate to its audience.

Outside of her professional work, Lauren stays connected to her creativity through linocut printmaking, fiber arts crafts, and making zines! She is also deeply nature-obsessed and can often be found identifying plants on a nature walk or on a bike ride through the marsh trails.
